Rehabilitation and Reintegration

The Rehabilitation and Reintegration of offenders is a core function of the Namibian Correctional Service.  The Sub-Department Rehabilitation and Reintegration seeks to manage and support offenders in a way that encourages and supports them in their efforts to live law abiding and purposeful lives upon release.  Rehabilitation and Reintegration involves input by a diverse range of general and specialist services including cognitive-behaviour based programme delivery, education, vocational training, case management, mental health services, community supervision and community service order assessments and supervision.
